Abstract
Objectives: In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of
biochemical blood values on the course of the disease. Material and
Methods: This is a retrospective study. For the treatment of COVID-19,
clinical features and biochemical test parameters of 243 patients who
applied to Malatya Training and Research Hospital in Malatya province of
Turkey between 03 March and 31 December 2021 were used. Results: In the
regression analysis performed in patients with Covid, glucose, urea,
ALP, LDH, albumin, calcium and potassium levels were found to be
effective on the severity of the disease. Conclusion: Biochemical
parameters can be used as clinical findings to predict the diagnosis and
course of COVID-19.
