What's new (2019)
- Editor: we added a more powerful undo function (⌘-z) and the ability to select, delete, copy, paste multiple document sections (figures included!)
- Shortcuts: in edit mode, try ⌘-j to add a new citation or ⌘-k to add a new link.
- Importer: we vastly improved the importer, especially for Microsoft Word documents with a lot of complex equations and figures.
- Exporter: more robust PDF export and better page layout customization
- Commenting: better comment anchoring and a fully revamped user interface. Private comments (only for collaborators) now anchor exactly to the text. (Try them on a new document while in edit mode). You can also call out collaborators by their @name in private comments. Public comments are made at document level to gather (and respond to) feedback from public readers.
- Collections: collections are special, customized kinds of groups, open for submissions (here's an example). Collections have an editor and can run a peer review process.
- Peer Review module: an experimental project to allow collection editors to perform and manage a minimal, simple, filtering of content
- Publisher-integrated Preprints: we created Wiley Open Research, a preprint repository that hosts manuscripts currently under review at Wiley journals. It is currently available only on selected Wiley titles running on Scholar One.
- New look for documents, user profiles, preprints. Check out a sample document, a sample user profile, and our preprint repository to see the new look. 👀
- ORCID: you can now easily sign up or add your Orcid to your profile (here's how)
