Abstract
Omphalophlebitis in foals is treated with complete resection of the
affected umbilical remnants. When total resection cannot be
accomplished, umbilical vein marsupialization can be implemented with
minimally reported complications. This case series highlights hernia
formation as a potential complication following one-stage umbilical vein
marsupialization.25 Jun 2021Submitted to Clinical Case Reports 07 Jul 2021Submission Checks Completed
