Mucormycosis infection in severe COVID-19 patient with multiple
underlying health conditions
Abstract
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a fearsome infectious disease
which cause some excessive complications along with it. the authors
present a case of acute invasive rhino-orbital mucormycosis in a
62-year-old man with severe COVID-19 pneumonia, who had a history of
uncontrolled diabetes mellitus along with ketoacidosis and nephropathy.
