Abstract
Cardiac dysfunction occurs in hypereosinophilic syndromes is a major
cause of morbidity and mortality. In patients with high clinical
suspicion for acute myocarditis and confirmed peripheral eosinophilia,
timely diagnosis and treatment is imperative to avoid the catastrophic
