Primary breast osteosarcoma (PBOS) is an extremely rare and poor prognostic malignancy that has not a definitive treatment guideline. Here we presented a successfully treated case of PBOS and provided a comprehensive review of the literature which revealed the divergence of opinions regarding the histogenesis and management of this malignancy.

A middle-aged female veteran artistic gymnast sustained an avulsion-injury of the latissimus dorsi and teres major. The case reveals unclarity in the current classification system and illustrates how a non-operative approach, in opposition to interpretation of recommended guidelines, was adequate for an excellent clinical outcome.

Antigenic competition in the skin is a phenomenon in which the current dermatitis is distributed away from the area of previously existing dermatitis. We experienced antigenic competition-like phenomenon in bullous pemphigoid. Our case differs from typical presentations of antigenic competition, since the responsible antigen was the same.

We present a patient with myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock who underwent high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention with Impella support, and developed iliac artery thrombosis at the Impella access site. Percutaneous thrombectomy was accomplished using the FlowTriever system, highlighting this approach as a potentially safe and effective alternative to surgery.

We present the case of an adult patient with acute dyspnoea and stridor following thyroidectomy. After excluding other causes of postoperative stridor, we concluded the patient was suffering from laryngospasm due to hypocalcaemia secondary to postoperative hypoparathyroidism. It is important to consider hypocalcaemia as a differential diagnosis in stridor.

Bardet–Biedl syndrome (BBS) is a rare autosomal recessive ciliopathic disorder. Because of its low prevalence and wide spectrum of clinical features, many patients remain undiagnosed. We report a case of a 14-year-old boy with a typical phenotype of BBS who remains undiagnosed until the development of end-stage renal disease.

Cutaneous leiomyomas are benign tumors arising from smooth muscles of the skin. Multiple lesions may be arranged in segmental, zosteriform, disseminated patterns. Multiple pilar leiomyomas may be inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern and may be associated with uterine fibroids and renal cell carcinoma, also known as Reed Syndrome.

A 60-year-old man presented to our hospital with pericardial effusion. He died of respiratory failure 13 months later. Autopsy revealed right atrial angiosarcoma extending into the right lung. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of a primary cardiac angiosarcoma that displayed direct lung invasion.

An 18-year-old female presented with hypopigmentation, ulcerative skin changes and masses of both breasts for over a year. She was referred to the Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) with suspected inflammatory breast cancer. Radiological findings and trucut biopsy were consistent with secondary CD3+ CD20- T-cell NHL of both breasts.

We present a case of non-leukemic (lymphomatous) variant of HTLV-1 associated adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma in a young woman. Tumor demonstrated strong and diffuse CD30 and PD-1 expression which is very unusual finding in this entity. Very good clinical response was obtained with brentuximab-containing treatment regimen.
