Dr Denis Bauer is CSIRO’s Principal Research Scientist in transformational bioinformatics and an internationally recognised expert in machine learning and cloud-based genomics. She keynoted the International Bioinformatics Conference Jakarta ‘19, AWS Summit 2019, Open Data Science India ‘18. Her achievements include developing open-source machine-learning bioinformatics software used by 10,000 researchers annually and contributing to Australia’s COVID-19 response.
