I'm Yu-Chieh David Chen, a PhD candidate at UC Riverside working with Dr. Anupama Dahanukar. I am from Taiwan and now pursuing my doctoral degree in the states. I am also an HHMI international student research fellow. My long term research interest lies in all aspect of sensory neurobiology, from development to behaviors. Currently I am using fruit fly taste system to understand how a understudied internal taste neurons in pharynx contribute to food choice. I am excited to join this group and meet all of you.
