The group of Sophien Kamoun at The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL), Norwich, UK, studies the interactions between plants and filamentous pathogens, notably the Irish potato famine organism Phytophthora infestans and the rice and wheat blast fungus Magnaporthe (syn. Pyricularia) oryzae.
