Abstract
Inguinal hernia can be present in the beam path of photon radiotherapy
for prostate cancer. To avoid exposing the radiosensitive intestinal
tract potentially included in hernia sacs, repair surgery prior to
photon radiotherapy should be considered for hernia-positive prostate
