I had a degree in Biology from the “Universidade Federal de Viçosa” (1991), a master's degree in Zoology from the “Universidade Federal do Paraná” (1995) and a doctorate in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the “Biosciences Institute of the “Universidade de São Paulo” (2003). I am currently Associate Professor II at the “Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo” at the Northern University Center of Espírito Santo - CEUNES, where I helped to create and maintain the Center for Continental Fish Research - NuPPeC . I have experience in Zoology, focusing on Ichthyology, acting on the following subjects: ichthyology, diversity, ecology, fresh water and conservation.
