A non-cytotoxic regimen of decitabine to treat refractory T-cell large
granular lymphocytic leukemia
Abstract
T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T-LGL) is a chronic
malignancy characterized by clonal expansion of cytotoxic T-cells
possibly complicated by cytopenias of one or more myeloid lineages. By
describing a multiply-refractory T-LGL case, this report highlights the
importance of molecular-targeted and non-cytotoxic therapies in the
context of frail elderly patients.
