Pediatrician Infectious diseases. Magister in Epidemiology
Dr. Rojas obtained a medical degree from the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Universidad Libre sectional Cali, Colombia, followed by a degree in Pediatrics from the same university, with a second specialization in Infectious Diseases in Pediatrics from the Universidad El Bosque, Bogotá, Colombia and Master in Epidemiology from the Universidad Libre seccional Cali, Colombia. He is currently a student of the Doctorate in Health at the Universidad del Valle, Colombia.
He has experience in clinical and epidemiological research in areas such as infectious diseases, bacterial resistance, dengue, as well as experience in training and teaching in the field of clinical and epidemiological research. He has published more than 50 articles in pediatrics, epidemiology, and infectious diseases. He received recognition from the Colombian Society of Pediatrics, as an outstanding resident in 2013, within the framework of the 28th Colombian Congress of Pediatrics.
He is currently a professor of Pediatric postgraduate course at the Universidad Libre seccional Cali. He is a member of : Colombian Association of Infectious Diseases (ACIN), Colombian Medical College (CMC) and American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH). Works at the HIDS HEALTH and Club Noel Children's Clinic Foundation in Cali, Colombia.
