Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as a Potential Trigger for Benign
Recurrent Intrahepatic Cholestasis
Abstract
Benign recurrent intrahepatic cholestasis (BRIC) is a rare disease
characterized by recurrent severe itching and jaundice. Coronavirus
disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a multisystemic acute viral disease and the
liver is frequently affected. Here, we wanted to present a BRIC case
triggered by COVID-19 infection, discussing it together with current
information.
