Streptococcus intermedius is a commensal bacterium reported in few cases
as the causative agent of brain and lung abscesses, pneumonia, and
endocarditis. Lung abscesses due to Streptococcus intermedius are rare,
especially in pregnancy. We describe the first case of lung abscess due
