Abstract
A 39-year-old male patient presented for medical treatment with cough
and minor hemoptysis for 3 days. Cardiac catheter ablation was
successfully performed in another hospital 1 week ago. An emergency
pulmonary CT examination revealed diffuse ground glass exudation and
consolidation of the left lower lung, and a contrast-enhanced
cardiovascular CT confirmed occlusion of the left lower pulmonary vein.
Occluded pulmonary veins were successfully opened by balloon dilation
and stent placement.
