Abstract
A narrative review based on the case of a patient presenting an atypical
symptomatology of an atraumatic splenic rupture induced by rivaroxaban.
An emergency splenectomy had to be performed. This complication is rare
but increasing since the popularity of direct oral anticoagulants and
