Abstract
This case reports an 89-year-old male who presented with sepsis,
disseminated intravascular coagulopathy, acute kidney injury, and upper
GI bleeding to the emergency department. He was admitted to the ICU,
where he was managed for septic shock, diabetic ketoacidosis, and
coagulopathy then sent home on medications with an improved status.
