Ablation of accessory pathway connecting right atrial appendage and
right ventricular outflow tract facilitated by computed tomography.
Abstract
The existence of accessory pathways connecting right atrial appendage
(RAA) and right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) is well established. We
present a case where an accessory pathway of this type mimicked
parahisian pathway. Ultimately, preprocedural computed tomography (CT)
was helpful in planning the procedure and accomplishing successful
ablation after a failed attempt.
