Edwin Caballero Agosto graduated in 2014 from the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo in Industrial Chemical Processes Technology. Hold a master degree in chemistry and is currently a PhD student in the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. Currently he works in the CCS-CISAC research group focused analytical chrmistry and specializing in spectroscopy.
From 2019 to 2022, worked in the University of Puerto Rico, RUM, teaching general chemistry lab. Current research interest is on utilizing spectroscopy and multivariate analysis tools to detect, classify, and quantify different types of analytes. Previous research was associated with detecting opioids hidden in mail flats using Raman spectroscopy and chemometric tools.
