Qi Jian Lim received B.E. in Engineering Science from the National University of Singapore in 2015. After graduation, he joined the Defence Science Organization in Singapore as a Member of Technical Staff for 5 years, where he worked on computational electromagnetic modeling for large multi-scale problems and Electromagnetic Metamaterials design. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Illinois
Urbana Champaign. His research interests include Reconfig-
urable Intelligent Surface design and Quantum Combinatorial Optimization.
