This work contributes into coding theory and techniques. It bundles the successive memos discussing the concept of so called linguistic multiplexing, a coding approach intended to extend the service of a less or more redundant coding procedure beyond its original duty, on the respective examples built around the Fast Ethernet physical layer protocol, type 100BASE-X (IEEE 802.3u). The memos are: [1] “Data Coding Means and Event Coding Means Multiplexed Over the 100BASE-X PMD Sublayer” (describes the so called initial design, present at pp. 1-4 in the bundle); [2] “Improving on, Optimizing of, and Explaining the Data Coding Means and Event Coding Means Multiplexed Over the 100BASE-X PMD Sublayer” (improved design, pp. 5-8); [3] “Simplifying but Usefully Extending the Improved Data Coding Means and Event Coding Means Multiplexed Over the 100BASE-X PMD Sublayer” (simplified design, pp. 9-12); [4] “Increasing the Basic Resolution of the Simplified Data Coding Means and Event Coding Means Multiplexed Over the 100BASE-X PMD Sublayer” (uniform design, pp. 13-16); [5] “Enabling a Preemption Function Over the Uniform Data Coding Means and Event Coding Means Multiplexed Over the 100BASE-X PMD Sublayer” and [6] “Proving the Preemption Function Over the Uniform Data Coding Means and Event Coding Means Multiplexed Over the 100BASE-X PMD Sublayer” (preemptable design, pp. 17-20 and 21-24, respectively).
