Max Mauro is an Associate Professor of the Department of Electronics at the Federal Technological University of Paraná - Ponta Grossa (UTFPR-PG), in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, Brazil. He is also the Director of the Lab GSA - R&DI in Automotive Systems and Industrial Automation.
He received the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Catholic Institute of Minas Gerais in Brazil (1993); an M.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil (1996); a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil (2004) and Postdoctoral in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aveiro in Portugal (2005/2006).
