Abstract
In this paper, a triple T-coil based impedance matching and bandwidth
extension network for high-speed analog front end (AFE) is proposed. The
structure consists of an 1to2 differential transmission line and three
pairs of differential T-coils. Post-simulation result demonstrates that
the proposed design extends the bandwidth by 2.23 times to 47.39 GHz,
with the frequency for the return loss less than -12 dB as high as 47.15
GHz, and the group delay variation of 1.38 ps.
