I am a third year PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I also work as a Research Assistant in my advisor's, Prof. Nan Chen, research group.
My research interests lie in the intersection of Applied and Computational Mathematics, in particular dealing with dynamical systems arising in Fluid Mechanics, Nonlinear Geophysics and Climate Science that involve solving and analysing PDEs and SPDEs. I am also interested in (Applied) Statistics like theoretical generalised linear models, machine and deep learning, data assimilation, uncertainty quantification and optimisation problems.
I hold a BSc degree in Mathematics and Statistics with a focus in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cyprus.
