Maziar Rastmanesh (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada, in 1996, 2013, and 2022, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor with Penn State University. Prior to this he was a full-time Faculty Member in marine engineering with the Nautical Institute, in Canada. Prior to this, he was a senior electronics Engineer at Adamson Systems in Toronto, leading an engineering team designing Switch Mode Power Supplies and Class D amplifier for audio industry., Prior to joining Adamson, he was a development Engineer with EMS Halifax Canada, responsible for the Maybach charger validation project and reliability and EMC of Electronics of Auto Industries. He was with GE and Globe Motor in United States and Canada and worked on Maybach and Delphi in Germany and Belgium. His research interests include low power RF and Solar harvesting, DC-DC converters, EMC, and reliability for automotive industries.
