I obtained education in the Experimental Nuclear Physics Department of Kharkiv State University in 1975-1981. Area of my scientific interests:
1. Space study of near-Earth, solar, and interplanetary phenomena. Manifestations of solar activity, Sun-Earth coupling. Dynamics of high-energy charged particles in the interplanetary space and the Earth’s magnetosphere.
2. Development of scientific instrumentation and parts for charged particle registration in space. Elaboration and tests of detectors and detecting modules on the base of semiconductor and scintillation detectors.
Professional experience:
From 1984 to 1990 I was a Research Fellow at the Experimental Nuclear Physics Department of Kharkiv State University, Ukraine;
From 1990 to1996 I was a Senior Researcher at the Experimental Nuclear Physics Department of Kharkiv State University, Ukraine;
From 1996 to 2011 I was a Head of the Space Research Sector at the Experimental Nuclear Physics Department of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (former Kharkiv State University), Ukraine;
From 2012 to 2016 I was a Senior researcher at the Institute of Radio Astronomy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; and
from 2017 to the present I have been a Leading researcher at the Institute of Radio Astronomy of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
from October 2022 to the present I have been a project manager at the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
