D. M. Kitavi is a senior lecturer in Applied Mathematics at the University of Embu, Kenya. Dr. Kitavi joined the University of Embu as a lecturer in September 2017 and later promoted to senior lecturer in January 2022.
D. M. Kitavi obtained the B.Sc. (first-class honors) in Mathematics in 2011 from the University of Nairobi (Kenya), M.Sc. (cum laude) in Mathematical Sciences in 2013 from University of the Western Cape (South Africa), and PhD in Applied Mathematics (Sensor-Array Signal Processing) in 2017 from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong).
