Katerina Maria Oikonomou is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece, working with Prof. Antonios Gasteratos. Before that, she received her Masters’s Degree in Robotics and Automation Systems from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, having her Master’s thesis achieved at the University of Bremen, Germany. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Patras, Greece, having followed the informatics, electronics, and signal processing specialization. Her research interests include robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and neuroscience.
