I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Geography at UCSB. My current research pertains to coastal erosion and recovery processes along the CA sandy beach-dune coastline. I focus on headland bypass dune systems and beach-dune interactions. My technological experience is heavy in close-range remote sensing including UAS, terrestrial laser scanning, point cloud data processing and collection, and utilization of ArcGIS for 3D map production.
I received my M.S. and B.S. in Geography at East Carolina University with a thesis focus on channel dimension effect on washover morphology. My background is primarily in coastal processes and geomorphology with a focus on overwash, Structure-from-Motion (SfM), and terrestrial laser scanning (TLS).
