M. Yassine Benhajali graduated from Université de Montréal with a B.Sc. in Anthropology. He started a Master/PhD program in neuroanthropology at université de Montréal in 2010. His main research interest is at the nexus of nature and nurture of human cognition. His work involves the analysis of genetic/environmental influences on functional brain networks and the effect of cultural mediation on these networks. His PhD project, entitled “Cultural Diversity and Biological Unity in Human Brain Networks”, is under the joint supervision of Dr.Pierre Bellec and Dr. Daniel Perusse.
