Arindam Basu is a Medical doctor and works as a Senior Lecturer in Health Sciences at the University of Canterbury. Arindam graduated as a medical doctor from the Calcutta Medical College (1992) and specialised in Ear, Nose, and Throat surgery (Otolaryngology). He obtained a Master of Public Health (1997) from East Stroudsburg University in the United States and a PhD from Saint Louis University School of Public Health. His research interests span a range of topics related to environmental and occupational health and public and population health in general.
