Primary failure of eruption is characterized by a non-syndromic eruption failure of permanent teeth in the absence of any mechanical obstruction. Applying orthodontic traction to teeth affected by PFE will not be successful and may cause ankylosis. This correspondence reviews and demonstrates the treatment of a case of PFE.

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is widely performed in combination with assisted reproductive technology, and the contrast medium used in this procedure may be retained in the pelvic cavity. In patients showing suspected operative-residue lesions after caesarean section, a medical history of HSG and details regarding abnormal findings can facilitate differential diagnosis.

Leiomyomas are uncommon vulvar neoplasms often misdiagnosed as other Bartholin gland pathology. We describe a case of accelerating growth of a vulvar mass, initially diagnosed as Bartholin cyst. Surgical excision led to a diagnosis of vulvar leiomyoma. Postoperative complications included secondary haematoma and dehiscence of the surgical site.

Cryptococcus neoformans (CN) is an encapsulated yeast that causes disseminated and potentially life-threatening in immunocompromised hosts. We present a patient with primary myelofibrosis on ruxolitinib who developed disseminated disease due to CN. The report underscores the importance of suspecting infections with intracellular pathogens in immunosuppressed patients on ruxolitinib.

We present a case of a 39 year old woman who undergone abortion 20 years ago but suffered with secondary infertility due to retained fetal bone.

Autosomal recessive cerebellar ataxias are a group of heterogeneous early-onset progressive disorders that some of them are treatable. We performed 4-year-follow up for 25 patients that considered as treatable ataxia in the literature. According to our study, patients would benefit from early detection of treatable ataxia, close observation, and follow-up.

We present two cases of nine and twenty-seven years old girls with recurrence of immature teratoma after an incomplete surgical staging. In both cases, there were huge abdominopelvic masses despite decrease in tumor markers with chemotherapy. Complete surgical resection of these masses was done, and histopathology showed only mature teratoma.

A bone lesion was unexpectedly detected by fluorodeoxyglucose position emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG PET/CT) in a patient with multiorgan sarcoidosis. FDG PET/CT should be considered for the detection of clinically silent lesions of sarcoidosis.

Morgagni’s hernia is a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, which represents only 3 % of all diaphragmatic hernias. Herein, we report a case of a 28-years old symptomatic female with Morgagni’s hernia who underwent a trans-abdominal surgery using a mesh placed.

This case is about a child who had a ventriculoperitoneal shunt due to a hydrocephalus related to a cystic craniopharyngioma. Postoperative, he presented abdominal distension and meningismus. Imaging showed regression of the tumor. The cyst was drained by the shunt. No previous similar situations was reported in the literature.

Ossification of stylohyoid chain corresponds to the ossification of stylohyoid ligament that can vary from thin short to thick long ossification and can be associated with other calcifications. We report in this case a bilateral non painful complete ossification of the stylohyoid complex extended to the thyrohyoidien ligament.

A 50-year-old woman with adrenal Cushing’s syndrome and chronic hepatitis C developed an acute exacerbation of chronic hepatitis C before adrenectomy. After administration of Glecaprevir/Pibrentasvir was started, her transaminase levels normalized promptly and a rapid virological response also was achieved. Then laparoscopic left adrenectomy was performed safely.
