Marianne Corvellec has worked as an industry data scientist since 2015, specializing in the Tidyverse (R) and SciPy (Python) stacks. A Physics PhD, she left academia in 2013 to join the vibrant Montreal startup scene. Notably, she worked with Plotly as a developer. A certified instructor with the Carpentries, she speaks or teaches at local and international events on a regular basis. She is an advocate of free software and open standards.
