Tanya Anderson is a former anatomist and parasitologist whose previous experience includes carefully dissecting temporal bones, scooping pit latrines, sexing sand fly pupae, immunological assay development, and creating computational models for predicting disease outbreaks. Having made her way from academic research to government research to clinical work, Tanya transitioned to the business of healthcare and science. Tanya has a particular passion for global health and believes that access to information is as important as access to care. Tanya holds an M.Sc. in Parasitology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BA in Human Physiology from the University of Minnesota. Tanya was born in Kikwit, Democratic Republic of Congo.
