Venkata Phanikrishna Balam received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India, in 2021. He obtained his M.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India, in 2013, and his B.Tech. in Information Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), India, in 2010. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara – International Campus Diu (IIITV-ICD), India. His research interests include bio-signal processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, the Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning. He is a member of IEEE and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
