Ransomware is one of the most spreading and dangerous kinds of computer malware these days. Researchers have followed various approaches. But the differences and comparison of existing works are not properly documented yet. It will help researchers continue working in this domain if the existing works are analyzed and get brought a common evaluation. This paper confers an analysis of the domain of ransomware detection systems. This paper is a result of the initial phase of ongoing research about open-source tribrid ransomware detection.
