This reflective paper elucidates the thought-making process of the author in understanding and putting into context the environmental consciousness of childhood and the self-concept. The axiom that can be yielded in the paper is the quiet role of childhood in facing the environmental challenges the world faces for the longest time.

The core of the study is looking into the self-concept of the selected informed informants and interpreted it through Erik Erikson’s psychosocial development theory on mistrust. The prime and intense assumption that the results magnified is that, ”direct consciously observed self-concept of mistrust is the product of unconscious feeling of frustration activated right at the onset of the child’s early years which could be naturally repressed but never fades as it can always be projected once ignited.”

This is a capability building project gearing towards re-educating rural community parents on responsible parenting. Pertinent data therein revealed the acquisition and adaptation of the participants about the knowledge transfer that were conducted.

This is an inquiry on the frequently utilized instructional materials of Social Studies teachers in a government-funded school in the Philippines: the extent and the underlying reasons therein.

The major tenet of this inquiry was the performances on motor, play and self-care developmental milestones of the children in a nursery development center, to set forth a clear direction of research undertakings as it continually exists for quite a while. To note there has not been a single research output being done considering that is a sustaining university extension project. Hence, the data collected are baseline in nature, no less yielded important findings for further researches.
