Researcher in Agriculture, Sustainability and Climate Change
Researcher specializing in Sustainable Development, Agriculture, International Cooperation and Climate Change. Trained as a biologist at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, I hold a Master's in Sustainable Development with a double degree from Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy, and Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Quito. I have conducted research on the impacts of climate change on the flora and fauna of Ecuador's paramos and its implications for local communities. Currently, I facilitate capacity-building processes for sustainable development and climate change mitigation, focusing on peasant research and rural learning. Additionally, I have contributed to the development of methodological tools and technologies for sustainable agriculture and ecosystem restoration. My interests include designing learning experiences, fostering development cooperation, collective capacity building, and bridging the gap between academia and community.
